BIO
Hey y’all! I’m Nana, a third-year STEM student, Math Club treasurer, amateur tango dancer, and volunteer tutor. I’m running for USG Senate because poor communication between USG and students wastes time, money, and keeps us out of decisions that affect us all. I want to help fix that.
As part of Math Club’s outreach strategy, I helped double event attendance—I have experience getting a message across. Students are busy, so outreach should be clear, creative, and engaging. USG wants more student involvement, and I want to help make participation more accessible and direct.
USG makes critical decisions about our money, decisions we should work to be more involved with. My priorities are:
✨ Club leader empowerment — Clubs are the bridge between students and USG. Let’s equip leaders with the knowledge they need to navigate funding and policies easily.
✨ Financial transparency — Students should know more about how funds are allocated.
Better outreach means a more informed student body, fewer miscommunications, and a more effective USG. I’ve fought for my peers before—leading petitions for a vital course, improving Math Club, and working directly with USG leadership. Let’s make student government more accessible, transparent, and effective.
