Undergraduate Student Presidential Slates

According to the USG Constitution, all executive powers shall be vested in an Executive Cabinet. The Cabinet shall consist of duly-certified Officers who shall each preside over designated Executive Offices.  Officers shall be considered sitting members of the Cabinet, and as such, each Officer shall be afforded the privilege to speak, and the rights to introduce directives, vote, and count for quorum at all General Cabinet Meetings.

Undergraduate Student Senate Candidates

According to the USG Constitution, all legislative powers shall be vested in a Student Senate. The Senate shall consist of twenty-one (21) duly-certified Senators. Senators shall be considered sitting members of the Senate, and as such, each Senator shall be afforded the privilege to speak, and the rights to introduce legislation, vote, and count for quorum at all General Senate Meetings.

According to the USS Constitution, [The USS] represents the interests of the students of the City University of New York by communicating all student positions on all issues to the City University’s campuses, faculty and administrators; Chancellery, Board of Trustees, New York City Legislature, Mayor, New York State legislature, Governor, United States Congress, President of the United States and such other governmental and private agencies as shall be deemed necessary to effect this purpose and shall work effectively with all aforementioned entities to best serve this purpose. It shall serve as the principal lobbying organization for the students of the University and shall make public its position on any action for the purpose of informing its constituents and the general public of the City of New York.

Student Disciplinarian

According to Article XV of the University Bylaws, student disciplinarians must be elected annually in an election in which all students registered at the college shall be eligible to vote. In the event a disciplinary hearing needs to be convened, two (2) students will be selected by lot from a panel of six (6) to serve.  In order for a disciplinary hearing to be held, at least one member of the Disciplinary Committee must be a student.
