BIO 

Growing up I was part of an anti-bullying committee that would raise awareness for victims of cyber bullying, verbal abuse, and even suicide. This was a big part of my life for many years and shaped the way I interact with and treat those around me. I am currently part of an organization known as “Team Impact” in which adolescents with special needs are paired with sports teams to help facilitate support among peers as well as strengthen leadership. I am a peer mentor, guiding first year students through their first semester and helping to ease their many overwhelming stressors. I am a SAAC representative for the Women’s Swimming and Diving team, assisting in the leadership of not only my team but our athletes as a whole. I am an active member of the Global Medical Brigades club and have been graciously given the opportunity of traveling to Greece to help people in need. lf I am lucky enough to be selected for a position, I hope to build and strengthen connections with my peers as well as have the opportunity to learn more about leadership. I will be using the knowledge provided to me from this opportunity to help make our campus a better place, for the future of all Brooklyn College students!
