BIO 

Hey everyone, I’m Danish! I’m a junior at Brooklyn College, majoring in Business and Philosophy.
I currently serve as the Secretary of the Brooklyn College Pre-Law Society and as a Peer Mentor at the Black & Latino Male Initiative department on campus.

I’m also a proud CUNY transfer student, having graduated with my Associate’s degree from Kingsborough Community College before transferring here last Fall. In addition to being a transfer student, I’m also a non-traditional student-I dropped out of high school and earned my GED. This journey has given me a deep understanding of the desire to belong to a community, especially here on campus. As commuter students, I know it can sometimes feel challenging to stay connected or find social circles that foster a sense of belonging.

My goal is to bridge the gap for any student who feels there is a disconnect, and I want to advocate for making Brooklyn College a place where we all feel like family!
